Dr. Norm Evans
Norm Evans, DVM has worked with camelids for twenty plus years. With an existing background in large animals, he brought to the industry an interest in herd health and nutrition and the effect on growth, reproduction and fiber production. His present focus is genetic fiber improvement appreciated in the offspring of breeding different sires to a dam and recording both desirable as well as undesirable genetic traits for 3 to 4 generations. These traits appear to show patterns that can provide helpful EPD data.
